Крупнейший в Евразии украинский агрохолдинг «Укрлэндфарминг» планирует вложить в 2012 г. 100 тыс. долл. США в производство семян озимого рапса. Программа будет реализована при непосредственном сотрудничестве сUkraine’s largest agribusiness group, UkrLandFarming, plans to spend in 2012 about USD 100,000 on a winter rapeseed production programme. На состоявшейся в Лохвице пресс-конференции, заместитель генерального директора «Укрлэндфарминг» Александр Гончаров сказал, что компания подписала контракт на производство семян озимого рапса селекции Monsanto. Он также добавил, что уже выделены средства на приобретение оборудования для семенного завода в Винницком районе, а также закупку посадочных и уборочных машин.
По информации All about feed, Гончаров заявил, что «Укрлэндфарминг» этим летом планирует выделить под размножение семян озимого рапса более 100 тыс. га. Из них 20 тыс. га будут предназначены для собственных нужд компании, а 80 тыс. га — на продажу.
В текущем сезоне в Украине, по данным ИА “АПК-Информ”, будет собрано на 24% меньше рапса по сравнению с 2011 г. Год назад в стране было произведено 1,1 млн. т. рапса. Основной причиной этого сокращения является уменьшение площадей, занятых под данной культурой, а также заметное падение урожайности.
По данным ИК «Инфоиндустрия» агрохолдинг «Укрлэндфарминг» управляет земельным банком в размере 532 тыс. га. Земли расположены во Львовской, Тернопольской, Хмельницкой, Ровенской, Житомирской, Полтавской, Сумской, Херсонской, Николаевской областях.
Компания “Укрлэндфарминг” занимается выращиванием зерновых, производством яичных продуктов, сахара, выращиванием крупного рогатого скота, дистрибуцией техники, удобрений и семян. В структуру холдинга входят 111 горизонтальных хранилищ зерна, 6 семенных заводов, 3 селекционных хозяйства и др. Конечным бенефициаром является О.Бахматюк.
Компания “Монсанто” – это диверсифицированная, всемирная компания, которая специализируется в области сельского хозяйства, пищевых ингредиентов. “Monsanto” продает около 1,000 наименований продукции, включая лучшие в мире гербициды “Roundup”. Основной вклад компания внесла в биотехнологию.
“We already have an agreement and signed contract to start the production programme of cultivating winter rapeseed from the Monsanto selection”, Deputy General Director for Seed of Ukrlandfarming Alexander Goncharov said at the press conference in Lokhvitsa.
He also added that the funds will be directed towards the technical equipping of the large seed plant in Vinnytsia region, as well as the purchasing of planting and harvesting equipment. Gonchar said that Ukrlandfarming plans to seed more than 100,000 hectares of winter rape this summer, 20,000 hectares for their own needs, and 80,000 hectares for sale.
The new project is important as Ukraine is currently experiencing rape production crisis. According to analysts from the analytical agency “APK-Inform”, in 2012/13 MY rapeseed production is expected to decline by 24% compared to 2011 production which was 1.1 million tonnes. The main reasons for this decline will be the reduction of sowing and harvesting areas, as well as yield, which is currently forecast at 16.1 t / ha (compared with 17.3 t / ha in 2011) So, this year Ukraine’s rape harvest will hit a record low for the past 5 years.
UkrLandFarming is the largest agro-holding in Eurasia specializing in the production of corn, eggs and egg products, sugar, cattle breeding and machinery, fertilizers and seeds distribution.
