DniproAzot starts supplying urea in packing
Packing of urea in soft big-bag containers was successfully launched at DniproAzot. The packing line has a capacity of 50 tons per hour. 750 kg big bags are used. Despite the long operations history, the company always supplied urea only in bulk.
CherkasyAzot is planning a project of UAN fertilizer production with a capacity of 500,000 tons
PJSC “Azot” (Cherkasy), a member of the OSTCHEM group, announced its intention to start the project of installation the line UAN fertilizer production with a capacity of 1500 tons per day. It can be understood that new capacities will be placed on the basis of the production sites of caprolactam, which ceased to be produced several years ago. Technical re-equipment is planned at the existing industrial site without changing the master plan and does not intend the allocation of additional land plots. Product line will cover three brands: UAN-28, UAN-30, UAN-32.
RivneAzot resumed fertilizers production on gas
Rivneazot restarted one ammonia plant using natural gas as raw material. For a long time, the plant did not synthesize ammonia, and used purchased one for processing it into nitrogen fertilizers.
SeverodonetskAzot started production after many months of shutdown
In March, SeverodonetskAzot resumed production of ammonium nitrate. The plant uses ammonia from other suppliers as raw materials. Earlier, the plant produced its latest lot of mineral fertilizers in September 2018.
AgroGasTrading prolonged the tolling contract with Odessa Port Plant
AgroGasTrading will continue to cooperate with the Odessa Port Plant. AgroGasTrading LLC held negotiations with the Management and the new staff of the Supervisory Board of the Odessa Port Plant. The parties have agreed to extend the contract on mutually beneficial terms until 01.05.2020.
The largest consortium for the production of liquid complex fertilizers has been established in Ukraine
The consortium is established on the basis of two companies: AK GROSSDORF LLC and “Central Institute of Innovative Agro Technologies” LLC (CIIAT). Liquid complex fertilizers range is as follows: NP 8:24, PK 18:18, NPK 5:20:5, other formulas on request. Shipments will be made from storage facilities in Odessa, Kirovograd, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Sumy. Total storage capacities 19,000 tons.
UTK Khimalliance started installation of equipment for liquid fertilizer production in Zhytomyr
UTK Khimalliance (BLAU Chem) will start liquid complex fertilizers production in Zhytomyr, thus increasing company’s production capacities to 10-15,000 tons per month. Pilot production of chemical polyphosphate based liquid complex fertilizers was launched in the second quarter of 2019 in Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia oblast. At the beginning of 2020, the company plans to launch production at four plants (Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia and Kirovograd oblasts). The production capacity of the company will be 20-30,000 tons of liquid complex fertilizers per month (240-360,000 tons per year).
